If you're an InternetNZ member and Free Speech Union supporter, you have a real opportunity to keep making a huge difference to keep online speech free.
By now, you will have already voted for Jonathan Ayling and Douglas Brown and registered for the AGM (the deadline for these was Tuesday, 29th July). ✅✅✅
Now, we must attend tonight's AGM and vote on our constitutional amendments - motions 1-12. (NOTE: You must be an eligible member and have registered for the AGM to vote for motions 1-12. You must be present at the Zoom AGM to vote for these motions.)
We require a two-thirds majority to pass these motions.
Today (Thursday, 31st July), you'll have received an email from InternetNZ. This contains:
The Zoom link to join the AGM.
Instructions for how to use the Mi-Voice voting app. Click here to follow the steps to ensure this is installed on your Zoom account! 💻
Your Unique Voter Code.
Keep the Unique Voter Code on hand for the meeting so you can vote for motions 1-12! Note: Mover: David Farrar. Seconder: David Harvey.
In the meantime, if you have any questions, contact us at [email protected].
Together, we can keep the internet free. But it’s going to take each of us.
