New Zealanders are not short on opinions. What we are increasingly short on are opportunities to discuss difficult issues with people we disagree with without immediately assuming the worst of each other.
Good Faith Yarns exists to push back against that trend.
Across the country, we're bringing together people to discuss some of the biggest questions facing New Zealand. These aren't lectures and they definitely aren't partisan rallies. They're conversations. We invite people with expertise, experience, and differing viewpoints to explore contentious issues respectfully and honestly, before opening the floor to questions and discussion.
But taking these conversations around the country isn't free.
Venue hire, travel, accommodation, equipment, event promotion, filming (yes we will get it online afterwards), and administration all come with costs. Ticket sales help, but they don't cover everything because we have deliberately kept them low cost so everyone can come.
